Chewy Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

How to use Xanthan gum to make Chewy Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies




Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose gluten free flour

  • ¼ tsp USA FLAVA Xanthan Gum

  • ½ tsp Baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 28 grams cream cheese

  • 6 Tbsp Unsalted butter

  • ¾ cup Brown sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips







Directions:

1. Whisk together flour, xanthan gum, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.


2. With a mixer, mix together cream cheese and slowly add in melted butter. Add in the brown sugar and mix on medium for 2 minutes.


3. Turn your mixer on low and add in your vanilla and egg yolk. Add in the flour mixture that you made and mix until well combined.


4. Fold in your chocolate chips and refrigerate mixture for 4 hours.


5. Scoop onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes in a 375 degree F oven.


6. Cool on racks and serve.
