Gluten free Biscuits

How to use xanthan gum to make delicious gluten-free biscuits




Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Gluten Free Flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon USA FLAVA Xanthan Gum

  • 1/2 tablespoon Gluten Free Baking

  • Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • 1/2 cup Milk

  • 3 tablespoons butter


Recipe

  1. Preheat your oven to 450 F.

  2. Mix together all your dry ingredients; gluten free flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a big bowl.

  3. Cut the butter in cubes and cut it together with the flour using a pastry cutter or fork until they look like flakes.

4. Add in your egg and milk and keep stirring until you form a nice dough.

5. Place the dough on a clean table and flatten to about an inch thick.

6. With a biscuit or cookie cutter, cut out some shapes and place in a greased baking sheet.

7. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes and brush with butter when done.
